Tous les foyers ne poss\u00e9daient pas encore leur auto, le prix de l&rsquo;essence \u00e9tait toujours prohibitif. Et disons-le&#8230; en dehors des visites aux amis et coll\u00e8gues \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre bout de la ville, ou le ravitaillement dans la famille rest\u00e9e \u00e0 la campagne, les raisons de circuler qu&rsquo;ils pouvaient trouver au coin de la rue, en terme de biens de consommation.<br \/>La ville n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas comme aujourd&rsquo;hui, cern\u00e9e d&rsquo;immenses centres commerciaux rutilants qui se sont \u00e9lev\u00e9s \u00e0 grands renforts de capitaux
