On les achetait sur le trottoir. Le Forum Civique (<em>Ob\u010dansk\u00e9 f\u00f3rum<\/em>) \u00e9tait probablement en haut des ventes. <br>Ce jeune et \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re parti politique rassemblait les principaux dissidents, autour de Vaclav Havel. Il venait tout juste d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der au pouvoir.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Paul II venait d&rsquo;effectuer sa premi\u00e8re visite dans le pays quelques jours auparavant, les 21 et 22 avril. Son portrait \u00e9tait partout. Dans la rue sur les r\u00e9verb\u00e8res, sur les portes d&rsquo;entr\u00e9es d&rsquo;immeubles, dans les bars et restaurants et m\u00eame dans les b\u00e2timents officiels comme la poste. <\/p>\n<p>Il est difficile de savoir quel degr\u00e9 d&rsquo;admiration la population tch\u00e9coslovaque portait pour Gorbatchev, qui visita le pays en avril 1987. Le discours qu&rsquo;il pronon\u00e7a laissait entrevoir des r\u00e9formes possibles dans un pays qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 envahi par la Russie presque 20 ans plus t\u00f4t. Les intentions r\u00e9elles du personnage restent encore aujourd&rsquo;hui \u00e9nigmatiques. <br>Quoi qu&rsquo;il en soit, il faut peut-\u00eatre interpr\u00e9ter cette image comme un t\u00e9moin de
