Il pr\u00e9f\u00e8re les climats sec et ensoleill\u00e9s. Il vit au ras du sol, pi\u00e9tin\u00e9. Mais dans certaines conditions, il peut devenir exub\u00e9rant et de belle taille.<br \/>Ses fleurs jaunes sont discr\u00e8tes et n&rsquo;ont rien de spectaculaire. Elles donnent naissance \u00e0 de minuscules graines noires et rondes enferm\u00e9es dans une capsule.<\/p><p>Dans les jardins elle aime pousser dans les all\u00e9es, le long des murs, enfin l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il veut.<br \/>Certains jardiniers ne l&rsquo;appr\u00e9cient gu\u00e8re et lui font la guerre&#8230;<\/p><p>Ce plant a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de se fixer au coin de la rue, dans le caniveau. Depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es, il se res\u00e8me. Il profite du compost naturel ins\u00e9r\u00e9 entre les joints de la bordure du trottoir.<\/p><p>Qu&rsquo;on ne s&rsquo;y trompe pas. Parfois mal aim\u00e9e, non d\u00e9sir\u00e9e, le pourpier est une plante d\u00e9licieuse en salade. Croquante et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement acidul\u00e9e, elle a de grandes qualit\u00e9s alimentaires.<\/p><p>Si certains pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent la pulv\u00e9riser, d&rsquo;autre aimeront
